We advise that the same data source name is used throughout your system, even if Crystal Reports is only to access the Local Database. ![]() ![]() ![]() (A System DSN is shared by all Windows Users on a machine a User DSN is specific to an individual Windows User-the user that was logged on when the DSN was added.) The DSN on a client can be either a System DSN or a User DSN. Crystal Reports uses the DSN to access the relevant database whenever you create or edit a report on a client.
